The Government of India's National Programmes for Family planning, Control of Blindness, Eradication of Leprosy, Pulse Polio and TB are being implemented by the hospital. Sir Ivan Stedeford Hospital stands to serve an ever-widening circle of humanity. 

The Hospital also undertakes education programmes to educate Doctors, Nurses and other staff. Continuing Education programmes are held regularly for Doctor and Nurses.
